A) The Palazzo Venezia National Museum is located in one of Rome's most prestigious palaces and was the papal residence of the Venetian cardinal Pietro Balbo who later became Pope Paul II. He was a keen collector, making him an ideal promoter of the building as a museum and for its artistic qualities. We will visit the "Rome in the 18th Century" exhibition which will take us through Rome's baroque period. At the end of the visit we will pause for refreshment in a tearoom or café near the Piazza Venezia.
B) A visit to the prestigious "Gattinoni Alta Moda" workshop, the symbol of Italian haute couture. The visit will be followed by a cultural walk starting at the Spanish Steps, from which we will admire the splendid panoramic view of the Trinità Dei Monti steps. We will then continue on to the Trevi Fountain, which has recently been restored to its original splendour following several years of restoration work. We will have a break for a tea or coffee in one of the fashionable cafés on the Piazza di Spagna.
C) A visit to discover Cardinal Scipione Borghese's famous art collection, one of the world's most famous collections. The Galleria Borghese houses the masterpieces of Bernini, Tiziano and Caravaggio in their original setting. The villa and the park belong to an important noble family in Rome. We will continue our visit with a walk through the park to the main square of the Pincio from which there are marvellous views of the city and where we can end our tour with a tea or coffee.
H) Capitoline Museums + Tea break
Since ancient times, the Piazza del Campidoglio has been considered the heart of Rome. The trapezoidal square (designed by Michelangelo) is bordered by the Palazzo Senatorio, seat Rome city council's administrative offices, the Palazzo dei Conservatori, the picture gallery and Palazzo Nuovo, housing the Capitoline Museums; in the middle stands the recently restored Marco Aurelio equestrian bronze statue.
The Capitoline Museums were established in 1471 when Sixtus IV donated a collection of bronze statues to the people of Rome. This is considered to be the oldest existing public collection in the world. From the very beginning, they were intended for keeping material originating from Rome and the surrounding areas. Over the years the museum was constantly enriched by new donations, acquisitions and archaeological finds, while a consistent amount of new material reached the museums following the work carried out in the town after 1870, when Rome became Italy's capital city. After the visit, a relaxing tea break.
I) New Fendi Palace, Spanish Steps + Tea Break or Gattinoni Atelier, Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain + Tea break
A group will visit the brand new "Palazzo Fendi", recently inaugurated in Rome. We will visit the store and the laboratories, followed by a tea break kindly provided by Fendi. The visit will continue with a cultural walk starting from the Spanish Steps, where we will stop to admire the unique panoramic view of the Trinità Dei Monti steps.

E) Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Palazzo Madama + Lunch
A walk in Rome's historical centre with guided tours to the Pantheon, an ancient pagan temple devoted to all the gods, and to the Palazzo Madama, home of the Italian Senate. We will then continue on to the fabulous Piazza Navona, with its churches and magnificent fountains, including the Fontana dei Fiumi, designed by Bernini in 1651. Break for lunch.
F) St Peter's Church, Visit to John Paul II's tomb, St Angelo Castle + Lunch
We will have the opportunity to admire Rome's most significant monuments of Christianity: St Peter's Basilica and the Castel Sant'Angelo, everlasting witness of Roman history. We will visit the Church of the Eternal City with its dome by Michelangelo and the castle of the Renaissance popes, from its ancient foundations to the panoramic terrace under the wings of the gigantic Bronze Angel statue. Visit to John Paul II's tomb. Break for lunch.
M) TOUR Domus Aurea + Lunch
The tour will start with a visit of the Anfiteatro Flavio and its shows, continuing with a visit of a current exhibition inside the Colosseum "Sacred Cult. Mysteries in Greece and Rome" The exhibition, promoted by the Soprintendenza Archeologica di Roma, shows the development of the sacred cults in Greece and Rome through over seventy works such as statues - for example the famous Fanciulla d'Anzio (from Palazzo Massimo) -, busts, frescos, Greek vases, sculptures, etc. Following on from this, we will visit the Domus Aurea, the residence built by Emperor Nero immediately after the fire in 64 AD which destroyed large parts of central Rome. Break for lunch.
N) Imperial Rome: Baths of Caracalla, Aurelian Walls, Coliseum + Lunch
Walk through the ruins of the Caracalla Baths and the Aurelian Walls (3rd century BC), until we reach the Coliseum in all its splendour, the most important and representative monument of Ancient Rome. Inside the Coliseum, feasts and spectacles lasted 100 days, fights between gladiators and exhibitions took place in here (visit from outside). The visit will include the Constantine Arch in the Imperial Forum and the Capitol Hill with a spectacular view of the Roman Forum. We will continue on to the Piazza Venezia, Teatro Marcello, Bocca della Verità and Circo Massimo. Break for lunch.

D) Visit to the Vatican Museums, one of the most famous cultural institutions of the Holy See, renowned worldwide for the masterpieces that the Roman Popes have commissioned, collected and preserved over the years. In addition to the extensive heritage of works of art in the galleries, the visit to the Vatican Museums takes in some of the most significant places in the Vatican's Apostolic Palace such as the Cappella Niccolina, the Borgia apartment decorated by Pinturicchio, the Raphael rooms and, of course, the Sistine Chapel with its frescoes by Michelangelo. The unique splendour of the Sistine Chapel, the magnificence of the structures and the beauty of the works of art will make this visit an unforgettable experience. Break for lunch.

G) We will start the day with a visit to Bulgari, for a luxurious breakfast in the famous boutique. The visit will continue with a guided tour of the Piazza di Spagna, one of Rome's most charming and well-known squares. This square is characterized by the spectacular 17th-century Spanish steps, which are now a popular place to sit not only for tourists but also for people living in Rome. By crossing a maze of small alleys we will reach the Piazza di Trevi with its Fontana di Trevi, undoubtedly Rome's most famous and spectacular fountain. Legend has it that if a tourist makes a wish as he throws a coin over his shoulder into the fountain, the wish will come true and he is sure to return one day to Rome. Break for lunch.
